Two-Prompt Watercolor Illustration Commission
These fun, made-to-order, watercolor illustrations aim to combine art, fandom, and fun. Here’s how they work:
The order form will prompt you at check out for one character + one keyword or phrase. You will then submit what you want (examples above), and from there, it’s up to me to interpret the two prompts and create some new original art for you-- the twist is that the end result will be a surprise original painting, which you'll receive in the mail!
Each sketch will be unique to the purchaser and will be made according to the prompt and character suggestion provided. That means, even if you give me the same prompts as some of the examples here, you’ll still get a brand new, different painting! (And don’t worry, all art will match the quality of the examples provided here.)
Each portrait will come on a piece of 6x9 inch watercolor paper, torn directly from my sketchbook, and will be hand-signed, titled, and dated.
I have limited slots to ensure a short production time, however, these are made to order, so please allow up to three weeks for your original art to ship.
All orders will ship insured.
FAQs
What is an original? “Original” means these are not digital drawings or print reproductions. You will receive the piece of paper the art was created on! Each painting is comprised of pen, ink, watercolor, and gouache, and they will be sealed to prevent fading.
How many figures can I request? These commission sketches are for one figure only per commission.
What do you mean by portrait? A “portrait” is art mainly focused on the face, but may include the bust of the character as well. There may be more body included depending on your prompt, but the focus would be the face.
Does it have to be a Supernatural Character? No, but if it’s a character I’m unfamiliar with, I will email you to let you know.
What if I don’t want to be surprised? That’s okay too! Just email me to request a picture of the painting before it’s sent. If for whatever reason you don’t like it, you can be refunded, and the painting will be resold.
Are there any other restrictions? Sounds like you have something specific in mind! If so, please email me at jackiedeeart@gmail and I’d be happy to give whatever clarification you need before placing your order.
